Fish – Story Acceptance 2
My story “The Talking Fish of Shangri-La” was recently accepted into the anthology Fish, from Dagan Books. I’m particularly excited for this book—there are a number of great authors represented here (I count myself lucky to be among them), and I really enjoy the story I wrote for this. Under a different pen name I often write more humors works, but this is the first Jacob Ruby story to have an element of humor featured so prominently.
The cover artwork is done by a good friend of mine, Galen Dara, who no doubt will have a number of other great pieces inside. It suggests a strong sense of fantasy and magic, but considering that they took my story as well (and the other of mine they passed on) I suspect it should have a wide range represented here.
I should also point out that this is the second time I have sold a story to Dagan Books—the first, “Seeds,” will appear in In Situ, coming out hopefully this fall or winter.
